I am Babajide Oluwase, an impatient optimist working towards the realisation of smarter, more sustainable, and liveable cities in Africa.

My thinking goes thus; for African cities to cater for their present and future needs, we would need to equip decision-makers with data-driven solutions to help them define, implement and track strategic development goals. For that to happen, the planning process must be participatory at scale, one city at a time. My goal is to help realise this as a professional, entrepreneur and advocate.

Aside leading the amazing team at Ecotutu where we provide businesses with access to tech-enabled solar-powered cold storage solutions, I also work on projects that improve the well-being of people from an environmental, social and urban management standpoint.

For fun, I am either enjoying the company of friends, or flipping through multiple tabs on my phone in search of “cool stuff”, or found in a WhatsApp chat catching cruise.
